Well guys it's been quite a weekend to say the least. Still haven't dynoed because of the PRI Trade show but made some great connections and some new sponsorship.

As you know we were going to use Microtech to tune my car with but some new people have stepped up to the plate with an offer I don't think I can refuse.

After a sit down with Haltech and chatting with one of the persons responsable for sponsorship. And trip to CFT with them. After they saw the car and the mods it was all over with. 75% sponsorship is what is on the table from Haltech.

This system will even have a custom wiring harness pined-out from Haltech for my XB. Although this puts my time table forward I belive this is a deal woth doing.

I can use all my stock sensors and gain control of my VVTI with the set-up they are offering. It just so happens Rolo my tunner and a certian individual at Haltech know each other and this is what transpired.

New ECU
Dash-display
dual Wide-band
pre pined out wiring harness

This means no stock wiring at all, 100% redone dedicated wiring to everything.

I'm glad you chose Haltech as they give good support and their products are worth all the bucks. My engine is wired with the sport 1000 and the engine started good with no actual tuning at all :)

In case you need help, I am sure I can give you a hand on this.

There is a race @ Richmond Dragway on the first dubbed "Hangover Nat'ls" but it's strictly 1/8 mile.

Guys I want to give you dyno results too. But I'm willing to wait a little longer when I've got something better to work with at my finger tips. No use in short changing my self when I've got so much invested thus far. I want the most out of this build I can get so were on stand by untill the new Haltech is installed with all the features and add ons.

How about teasing us with pics/vid of your car from the last build? I'd love to see pics of what it was like before you tore it apart again...don't think I've seen vid either of her running. Or history perhaps...I don't even know why you are building an xB or your car history. I'm always one for a good story. Also, and maybe you've already answered, but what were your numbers the last time she ran? IE, what are you trying to beat, and what are you expecting this thing to make?

228hp from the last build with a Greddy 14G turbo. Car ran great had no issues. So I'm hoping to be around 360-380hp on this build with the fuel I'm using and new turbo set-up. Remember I'll be using a MD500 to tune with so numbers on this dyno are always smaller than any other dyno out there, especially a racepack dyno which lies it's ass-off.

Just gotta get it back together now since the head delema with Gude.

What head dilemma? I thought you said all was well with gude?

Also, md500...is that the infamous "heartbreaker" mustang?

And pics mang! You have show pics or anything? I don't think I've ever seen a pic of your car in one piece! Not that I don't enjoy pic pron, but just curious. Also, why an xB? If you've got that kind of money, you coulda' built anything...give us some back story!

And good luck with the haltech goodies...when are you expecting them to come in?

That is the Mustang Dyno....The king of real numbers. And yes we thought all was good with the head, the clearences were good and all appeared to be in good shape. There were a coiple of things that we didn't like but not enough to deture us from trying it. My biggest fault is not getting a compression check after the install of it, before I took it to Rolo at CFT to tune. But lesson learned, rolo caught it and is fixing it as we speak. Here are some old pics prior to this build. I didn't post them because they are irrelevant to how it will look now.
