"I'm thinking of doing the b-pillars and the side mirror mounts / triangle plastic pieces on the front of the door, but we'll see. Gotta figure out how to get all those pieces off, first..."

Okay, just so you know the 3rd gen has airbags located behinds these trim pieces. It would not be advisable to wrap them in anything. If you do and are in a crash and the airbags go off the trim is designed to split apart. If it did not do this you now have a rather large piece of plastic moving at you upper body and head at a very high rate of speed. If you still want to wrap them and don't mind not having the air bags you can disable them but you might want to have that done at a shop. I am unsure on what would be needed to be done so they don't set them self's off as you take them out.

My opinion mind you but I would not want to see anyone getting hurt.

hehe, I removed those airbags. the only remaining airbags in the vehicle are the steering wheel and passenger dash airbag :) - But I was referring to the exterior pieces on the outside of the vehicle. The interior pieces are all gone! Don't need no stinkin' interior!

Sorry guys. So much work. I counted up the total amount of time I was at work last month, and I spent more time hour wise there, then I did at home! Got some stuff to do soon, though!

I have the Megan racing coil-overs which I bought from Garm / Jeff over at Microimageonline.com. These ones. http://shop.microimageonline.com/Meg...R-CDK-TY07.htm

I have 8k front and 8k rear springs, which you can order from Garm / Jeff when you order the coilovers.

A little update. NRG wheel = installed. it's purdy.

my only complaint is its a tad smaller than I realized. should have gotten the slightly bigger one. its ok, im trying to source a clear pink acrylic wheel to match my shift knob, because musical shift knobs mean musical steering wheels too!

Hard to tell the overall look without seeing it in person, but I have a friend in California who has a black 7 Series BMW with matte finish wheels that are sort of a whitish silver and the interior is solid/mono black leather with a wood steering wheel (similar tone to yours). The overall effect isw great...understated and elegant, but also sharp and striking.

You get everything sorted out with your intake manifold and 1zz throttle body install?

For the most part. My cold start still fluctuates between 2000 to 2300 depending on outside temperature and drops down within 30 seconds, and my hot idle is 600 on the dot, so I'm fairly pleased. I'll probably do a little more fine tuning to see what happens, as I recently got a bluetooth OBD 2 adapter so i can get more accurate readings than the factory tach :)

Really not feeling the silver 2.5 quick release. Ordered a black one, but it was ebay, so we all know how that goes. Really didn't want to deal with sending it back and waiting, etc etc. more hassle than it's worth. Either going to trade it for a black one to someone local, or paint it (body paint match, maybe?) But other than that, I'm happy with it. Gotta follow bzinn's thread on how to get the horn and everything to work, and figure out how to get the blinker to go back to it's neutral state, but that shouldn't be too difficult. I'm totally going to find a way to make the OEM cruise control work, too.

Love the wood trimmed steering wheel, makes it look like a timeless classic...I had a wood trimmed stick shit knob for my 86 Honda Prelude...feels much better than the plastic or metal material knobs...
