Hella Fog Lights
Anyone installed these yet?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOT...spagenameZWDVW I don't know if they're cheap crap or not... appear to be, but they're just fogs. 100 bucks sounds a lot better than the 300+ Toyota wants for OEM's, and those don't have a nifty little neon blue ring. Haha. Yeah, ricey, but I like it. |

They look aight, but like you said it is tough to tell....I thought that someone on the forum said that the factories were 120....not 300?

That's my car in the picture, I was brousing yaris parts on ebay a couple weeks ago and saw that they snagged my picture from my website. I don't know if that's the company that actually gave me my fog lights, it's a different seller name. So they may have just used my picture as an example of what their lights may look like. Or it could be them selling under different seller names. But as far as the pictures of the parts, they look different than the ones I got.

Hahaha, sweet Toddhata. They stole your baby.
I'm probably going to get them and toss some yellow bulbs in there. |

To be honest, I don't really beleive those are Authentic Hella lights, but if they are, Hella makes pretty good product, my fog parts should be arriving soon, and I'll show you all how they look, I'm going to be retroing Hella Micro DE Halogen Projectors into a OEM style fog, with proper OEM style finishers, but I've got a question for everyone, do you think that the finishers would look better black or painted body color on a Metallic Meteor Gray Yaris?

He doesn't post nearly as much as he used too (which is a shame because he's an asset). Maybe you could PM him to get attention.

YES. Search for Liftback or Sedan Yaris Fog Lights on eBay, and Todds type will come up. There are about 6 different places selling the same exact kit under their own name. Comes with everything needed for install.. harness, replacement housings, fog lights, bulbs, switch, instructions, etc. Still looking to grab a set, and toss another HID kit in there. |

Cool. Just making sure because their picture shows the regular generic, square push button type instead of the one in Todds pic..

I emailed Pro Car Parts about the Fog Kit Todd got. Specifically asked if it still comes with that button like the one pictured in Todd's setup. No reply yet, but I'll let everyone know what they say.

Todd, once the fog light kit in installed, how easy is it to get to the fog lights to replace the bulbs? You don't have to remove the bumper every time you have to change the fog light bulbs do you?

You can get access from behind the bumper. If you roll the car up on a set of ramps, you can see the backside of the factory "blanks" and how they attach. Looks like a simple swap when needed to change the bulbs.
