Most people that do the Q45 retrofits just dispense with the reflector and put the projector in it's place, it's much easier, you may have to do some cutting and modification to the rear of the housing, however, and also note that you will lose hi-beam function as the Q45 projectors are single-xenon only.

I see. People at the HIDPlanet forums say that fx35/45 projectors are the smallest clear lens bixenon projectors. Are there any bi-xenon projectors that will fit through the hole in the Yaris's stock reflector, without any cutting? Or will all projectors require removing or cutting the reflector?

All projectors will require modification or removal of the reflector, as well as possible modification of the housing.
