Bought a faulty Vitz today.
After months of consideration and shopping around,today I finally upgraded from a 1995 Nissan Pulsar(N14) 1.6L (with 216000km) to a 2007 Toyota Vitz 1.3L (with 60,000km).
After walking out of the dealer's yard, I felt good and thought it would be the beginning of a long happy relationship, I was wrong. About 1km away from the dealer, when I accelerated, the engine started vibrating and clunking to a point it felt like the engine might just suddenly die. Earlier in the day, when I test drove the car, this was not present. I immediately drove it back to the dealer. He hopped into the car, drove around in it with me and agreed there was something wrong with the car. He reckons it was from the spark plugs getting wet when he cleaned the engine bay in the afternoon. He's agreed to get the car to a mechanic on Monday. Any thoughts? Has this happened to anyone? I feel so gutted at the moment. |
