yes, a lot of new cars have crank pulleys that feel like theyre welded on. Dont know if this ones the same but its only $20 or less. Save you making a trip with the car apart.

if you have an Autozone around you, you could likley borrow a puller.

ok went to princess auto they have, steering wheel puller, alternate puller, and crankshaft pulley puller, all different amounts, wouldn't they all work the same?

punch, if your in canada and have a canadian tire near you and have a credit card you can borrow one from them. If theyre like the ones around here.
Princess auto should have a puller ive looked at it every time I go in there - im assuming thats what the crank pulley puller you mentioned would be.

For 1.0, 1.3, and D4D owners interested in a pulley...

Measure your stock crank pulley. The 1NZ-FE's stock pulley is 160mm in diameter. If your pulley is the same diameter and has one row, then this pulley will fit. It isn't all that unusual to find the same pulley used across different platforms.
