time to replace original tires

I don't drive my 2010 3 door hatch much, only has 38,000 miles in 8 years. The original tires Bridgestone Potenza RE92 P185/60R15 84T are showing small cracking near the rims, but have plenty of tread left. I've been pleased with these tires regarding comfort & mpg.
Called my local Belle Tire who I've dealt with over 25 years. They gave pricing for Mastercraft ($418 less $50 rebate), Yokohama ($447), Michelin Defender $532). They did not have Bridgestone, but could get a price on them if I wanted. The price is not the main concern.

Any suggestions or comments?

I would go with the Michelin Defenders. There is currently a $70 Mail in Rebate: Valid 4/30-5/12/18. Also, compare prices with your local Discount Tire store.

Not to add to the decisions, decisions dilemma, but Cooper, Continental, and General Tire all provide excellent, budget friendly choices for a daily driver.

^^^ Too bad it expires. Easy to compare the two tyres when you are on the TireRack website.

Here is a comparison chart for all in class tyres:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/surve...=true&filter=y

The Michelin Defender T + H is rated #1, and bests all others in every category except winter/snow.

Jet.com sent me the federal 595 RS-RR's for 84 a corner... free shipping too. So id check them out for differeing tire choices.

my default all season tire is a bit old now but the BFG g-force comp A/s was a good one to check out
