Two Different TRD Mufflers!!!

Me and Alphafox met up and compared and traded the two exhaust check out the difference!



The newer version or (US version) is 5x louder than the vitz trd muff....

But i like noise!!!

ps alphafox is the man "its in the brochure!!!!"

I bed the JDM one is actually tuned where as the USDM one is "pretty" and makes noise

looks like the US one is more straight thru, probably explains the sound. Looks less restrictive to me.

lol, yes it is in the brosure!
I definately love the vitz version compared to the US version. its much quietier yet you can still hear it, classy IMO.

Looks like it might be JDM as well.



This is listed as TRD High Response Muffler Ver. R

http://www.trdparts.jp/parts_muffler-r.html

It is listed for use with NCP91.
R is higher than S in the TRD Catalogue. But this might not be so good for those of us that likes "polite" mufflers.
[R stands for Racing, S stands for Sport]

Violins you tube video using the JDM muffler sounds just like my U.S. TRD straight through muffler. Actually the inside noise is a little louder in the car of Violins compared to mine.

I think that the virz muffler must have been tuned to our car better than the US one. I can definately feel more power through the whole power band with the vitz, the US version it was only above 5K rpm that I felt it. I am definatly pleased with the vitz!!

TRD Sparks has them. I got mine for like 330 shipped I believe. The dealership was like 399
