Are center (dust) caps really necessary for steelies?? - Toyota Yaris Forums

So are center caps needed for the stock steelies that have the axle thing showing through the front wheels? The reason I ask, is that I took of the hubcaps and can see the axle nut thing and didn't know if it needs to be covered? Thanks.

Anyhow, no, but watch that center axle rust to smitherins within a year or two.

So, you're best off to leave them on...
