Problem in Yaris found

Hey all.
So the dealer took a look at the car and figured out that one of the spark plugs was severely corroded and was causing a miss in cylinder 2
He said that because the car sat for almost a month after the wreck without being driven the spark plugs corroded over a little.
It's probably time for new ones anyway; 90,000 on the odometer.
Have many of you guys on here just changed the plugs yourself?

They're pretty simply. All you need is a special deep socket to get the plugs out. if oyu try to do it yourself make sure you put some anti-seize compound on the threads of the plugs. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT CROSS THREAD THEM. You do NOT want to have to get the head re-threaded.

I check them every time I change the oil :) When they look to dirty or have too much corrosion that cant be cleaned, i change em'

When i still drove my rx7 I would change the plugs once every few months. I had a couple sets and i would pull them, clean them, and reuse them.

..........but thats a dirty old rotary that would foul a plug for no reason so I had to clean em'. lol
