Oh you could drill and mount individual LEDs all sorts of ways. You'd need to wire it up properly with appropriate resistors of course.
I'm not a fan of the bunch of little point sources of light look like the photo Blenjar posted though. I wanted a look more like the angel eyes around BMW lights. It just couldn't be done without hacking up the housing and I didn't want to do that. |

hold up....so if you were to put angel eyes onto your retrofitted HIDs you'd have to hack away at the shroud or the housing?

If I had put these in, I'd have to modify the interior trim pieces.

The piece that would need to be trimmed is the opaque plastic piece that rides inside the lens.

o. that shouldn't be that hard to trim (or i don't think it would be) would've been great if you installed them though. maybe you could sell the set you made to someone?

Wait, I thought the set that he did are the retrofitted ones on the car, I think he is just saying he didn't do this led eyebrow because it was gonna look cheeze. Anyway, that's what I am hearing.

I think what he was saying was it would take too much cutting to get them to fit. You'd have to cut part of the headlight cover off, a scary thing when the only two headlights you have are the two you're cutting. This is left to the more adventurous type. Who's calling dibs? For +284,000 put eyebrows in a Yaris.
