Chip key made at ACE Hardware
Just returned from a visit to the local ACE Hardware store ( S.E. New England) and on the checkout counter was a display to make your automotive chip key, programmed and all, while you shop. Clerk told me approx. 10 min.
Cost- $ 70.00 + tax And this weekend at that store, not sure about all others, $10.00 off that, so $60 and tax. for a programmed chip key guaranteed to work with your car. Has anyone else seen this or had any made? cheers, NEexpat |

If your car has a factory immobiliser, your key has a chip in it.
