the toyota matrix had a year or two with awd and 2zz, a cheaper alternative to importing parts; good luck trying to find one. only found one wrecked and it went for 9k.

There is only one thing left to do Thomas.
Buy the cup car and race. You know you want to. You'll come back the guru of the 1NZ. You are the chosen one. You must go and return to us at once! |

erm not really, as the one-make-race cars are of equal specification and no engine tuning of any sort is allowed, so it's all about driver skill
I can probably wait another year to join the races... I need MORE POWAR!

You'll still learn a lot about the car. The skill will come.
Then again, a 2ZZ sounds nice. |

But an AWD 250HP+ Yaris? I could go rallying with it, and that's a childhood dream of mine... I grew up in a mountainous area with frequent rallies... and in those days they used badass cars like the renault 5 turbo or peugeot 205 turbo 16... left a lasting impression

Think of the fame. Think of the neck snapping acceration. Think of the vaginas! Easy decision. Go the 400BHP. Then go wipe your ass with a one-make-race Yaris. |
