Ok, I just heard the video.

Do your ears matter much? Lol sounds like fun, I would have to be a couple blocks away to enjoy it though.

FOR SALE

150 / 320 amp DC Power Alternator!!!

My Stetsom amp can't handle the voltage the alt puts out guys. The regulator setpoint is set at 15 volt @ 2500+ rpm. Anything over 14.7 and the amp goes into protect. I'd rather get another alt than another amp. Love the Stetsom.

I'm not saying the DC alternator is s**tty, cause it's not. I'll be ordering from Rob at DC Power again, just gonna get a 270 XP

PM me for price and more details

It was only installed for a day and a half

Man, I been on the hunt for one this whole week. DC Power is not getting back to me, Irragi hasn't got back to me, Mechman says they have nothing. I'll try excessive amperage and MLA tomorrow. I really want to send it back to DC but Rob said to wait, he's working on it.

I got a comp in 3 weeks and I wanna win. Well see what happens.

I'll just say this, if I had the Sundown saz 3500d like I originally planed on, I wouldn't be having this problem.

Not saying anythig bad about Stetsom or DC Power though. Like I said, if I sell this alt I WILL order another alt from DC, just w/ a lower voltage setpoint.

Got a question about boxing in the amp i have a similar build just that im placing the amps under the wood. would boxing them in that way over heat the amps? at the moment i drive around with out the wood floor on and wondering about the over heating issue..
Alot of you have more experience with this then me so what you think?

Simply amazing man, grats on the 144. I like the decals as well, no too over the top. :)

So did you get your Alt prob hammered out? An h/o alt is next on my list and Iraggi apparently went under. Let me know. :) I need about a 250a alt.

@ -slick Yeah bro, the alternator situation got squared away. I swapped my Stetsom amp for a Sundown and everythings fine now. I also upped my RPM's a little tonight so my voltage is looking really good. Get in touch w/ Rob over there at DC Power Engineering and he should be able to get you set up w/ something

@ - sickpuppy You know what man......thats crazy because i have never played IZ on the system yet. Im on it tomorrow

So the sundown is 15v+ capable? Out of curiosity, does the DC alt have the wire terminals that are ran on the stock alt? Or did you have to buy some sort of an adapter.

Again, great stuff. I just finished dropping roughly $1,500 on misc suspension and cosmetic upgrades. My next spending spree is going to re-upgrade my sub-stage.
