It would be easier to do a complete engine swap. The 2NZ and 1NZ have the same cylinder bore, with the 1NZ having a longer stroke.

I think you will find the 1NZ block is a bit taller to accomodate the longer stroke, so you would need custom shortened conrods to fit a 1NZ crank into the 2NZ block without the pistons hitting the head.

Hey dude!! my plan would be just to change the pistons heads, without crank nor conrods.

But because you`re telling me that the bore is the same i guess the 1nz has more displacement only because of the longer stroke alone?

So to do something like im planning I would have to replace head or block, conrods, crank, etc.?

Changing the pistons won't change the displacement. I don't know if the 1NZ and 2NZ use the same pistons.

There are a number of people on the forum who have installed 1NZ-FXE pistons from the Prius into the 1NZ to raise the compression. Perhaps someone can check the part numbers for 1NZ and 2NZ pistons..

Hey guys so there are no prius in my country so to get 1nz-fxe pistons would be too hard.

But there are yaris belta 1.5 1nz-fe... How can i do to bump my 1.3 2nz-fe to the 1nz-fe displacement?

Does anybody know? Block and crank only? Rods, head?

Thanks!
