Work Yaris

Just got this little guy as a company car. Will be replacing that 13mpg behemoth in the background.

I drive about 30k mi/year.

Yep.....at 30K miles a year, you're looking at a $4000+ savings (per year!) just in gas alone compared to your truck. You'll have the Yaris paid for in a little more than 3 years!

It's not his car, it belongs to the job. Thus no payments.

He didn't say, but he may own the company (that's how I interpreted it anyway). Either way, someone will be saving a lot of money on gas!

I drove a Tacoma 6 cyl for nearly 8 years in my consulting business and I drove about 30k miles a year as well. That thing loved gas for some reason. I would hate to try to count up the savings if I had used a car like the Yaris or even an Echo. Shoulda.
