Coolant level when engine cold

Hey guys.. With your yaris, when the motor if fully cooled down from a drive, and with the car not running, what level do you find the coolant at in the filler neck?..

when the engine is warmed up, I top the coolant off to the full mark. it doesnt settle that much from the full mark. I dont think you have to worry about it for a while, unless you are leaking cooling, I have only added coolant once in 60k miles of driving.

Hi Alex.. I assume you are referring to the overflow bottle... I am wondering at the filler neck that is connected to the rad hoses..

ohh, when mine is cold, and I open the cap on the radiator hose, its down to about the top of the hose, not yet up into the little neck that the cap sits on.

^ but it's not a bad idea to top it off before closing it again. You shouldn't have any air in there.
