You can enter your VIN here to check current recall status for your Toyota:

http://www.toyota.com/recall

So far, nothing comes up for my 2015. I wonder if the recall is specific to the trim level (L, LE or SE)? I'm not sure if the SE "sports-tuned suspension" means different parts in that regard or not.

The recall is only for 3100 2015 Yari (so far), which is about 3 months worth of American sales of the model - assuming they are talking about U.S. recalls # only and not North America?

Also, for more info on the recall details:

My UK Yaris 2015 has been recalled for the replacement strut bearings. So mine is so 'lucky' to be within those 3000 defected cars?! I should go and get the lottery.....

And yes, when I go over large humps in my office car park at speed, the front suspensions do 'jump' and not have the usual damping as my other car and my colleagues' cars. See if the replacement improvements anything.

I took mine in today for the recall. I too was a "lucky winner" I have the 2015 SE model. I haven't noticed any issues with it though - which is good I suppose as I already have almost 20K on the car.

Got my airbag recall notice, but they didn't have the parts yet at the dealership.

Thus far on my sedan they've replaced my Driver's side seat track, and something to do with the power window switch. They said it was some kind of potential fire hazard. They also changed out the cruise control unit for some reason.

Only thing I've actually noticed so far from any of it, was the seat track. It stopped clicking into place 30 minutes after I had set it where I needed it.

Its the TAKATA airbag recall , some models have the AB ecu which was made by TRW.
Supply parts is limited due to the great demand.

I received the airbag recall, but with me moving to DFW I am not sure whether or not a dealership there will do the work. I was all set back home in Northern Maine. Guess we will see when I am back from this work contract the beginning of April.

Exclamation

My car says:
seat track July 2014
Spiral cable Nov. 2014
R10- Window switch? Dec. 2015 (has no power windows, maybe hatch defrost?)

Just now got letter, TAKATA airbags.

I was just at the dealer last week and asked about any recall, she said none.

I was thinking they could take the airbags and leave them out...not sure if they'd go for it though

Well, as safe as they can be anyway.

I have 2008 toyota vitz, when i stop @ traffic light or just in traffic it revs and races even when my foot is on the brakes. I have changed the crunk senor, change the pump and gas filter. A full oil and plug service. The test say the crunk senors was bad, it also said the computer needed re learning. Did all of that no change. I need help

Got my passenger airbag, seat rail, and spiral cable done yesterday. No more airbag light and flashing seatbelt indicator. Yeah! Our 06 goes in for those three and two more recalls (don't 'recall' exactly what the other two are) in May or June, when the car comes out of hibernation.

Mine is going in to have its recall done on Monday. I have 3 recalls on mine.

Passenger Airbag Inflater
Seat rail spring
Drivers door switch

I've been getting letters about it since 2014 at least but its only in the last 9 months that I could spare the car for a day to get it done. I called the dealer about this in July and it took them this long to get round to ordering the parts and booking me in.

I think they were hoping to sell me a new car first. I kept getting letters about "scrapage schemes" it really burns my bacon how wasteful it is taking such lovely reliable cars off the road and scrapping them even though they have 10+ years running in them just to replace it with a newer less reliable vehicle which won't last nearly as long.

After getting letters in the post for probably close to 3-4 years I finally took Betty in to have her recalls done. Took it into Toyota at 9AM yesterday morning, sat down and had a coffee and used the wifi while they did the 3 recalls.

Took them about 2.5 hours.

Passenger Airbag inflater
Seat rail spring
Drivers door switch

All done. It must have horrified them to put so much work in on an 11 year old car. They did try and sell me a new one. I was like no thanks. Not even halfway through her life yet.

I also seem to get less squeaking and rattling in the cabin now its all been out.

Ye, if you think about it they had to pull out the whole dash to change the passenger airbag. So they screwed again every bolt that had become loose

I'm impressed they managed to do it in only 2.5 hours to.

It might be not that hard. Some screws here and there. And I assume they did this more than just one time so they know what to do.
First time I took out my door panels took me about 5-10 mins. Now, after 3-4 times, I can do it in about 30 sec
