Im using the blue tri-power from autolumination to match the blue wedge LEDs for the A/C knobs. Works like a charm and looks great so far.

what size do you use to remove the bolt and does the light have that little green condom on it. I removed the ones of the ac controls and just left it white and am going to do the same to the gearshift light

its a 10mm i got this trim that goes around the outside of the shifter...so i did this. all tho i had to take my arm rest off first... my sig pic shows it lit up.. its real easy take bolt out, unscrew shift knob, there are 2 clips by the front. tug on the end and they pop out and then take your center consol and toss it to the side lol

EDIT: what type of LED is it. like is it a 194? wedge or something?

http://autolumination.com/74.htm

Its a #74 base. Its the tri-power (the first bulb listed on the site)...

This bulb is good because it spreads the light out from 3 sources.

ok so my wife woke me up saying u got a package... im like ok open it up and its the LED's so i get to work and

1. unscrewed the 10mm bolt in the cup holder (if you cant find the 10mm bolt then you most likely have an arm rest. take that off to show the bolt for info on installing/uninstalling factory armrest here)

2. took the little panel that holds my fog light and aux switches by the e-brake and tucked it threw the opening

3. with the car in neutral unscrew the shift knob (i have an aftermarket shift knob so i did not have to unscrew it before i took it off) lift from the back by the cup holder and pull the front up. there are 2 plastic clips by the front where the tray is to hold things you will hear the clips un cliping then put the center concole to the side

4. on the shifter there is a black plastic plate with the letters "P R N D 3 2 1" . remove this by uncliping the 4 tabs. 2 on each side take that off and the pull out the condomed bulb and replace with LED.

pictures asap my phone broke so i gotta get a digi waiting for mother in law to come home so i can use it
