how do you beat traffic in NYC?

From CT, start off i95.
To Manhattan.

Input the time of the shortcuts effectiveness.

Downtown, around penn station, and uptown.

I hate using FDR, the road r shitty.

1st, I'd take the Merritt/Hutch to I95, to beat some of the traffic. :)

yeah really... almost impossible
but the quickest way would be hutch south to cross county pkwy to saw mill rvr pkwy south to henry hudson/west side highway into manhattan. youll pay 2.50 but youll probably make up for that in gas and less stress. 95 and or the cross bronx are the worst roads ever.
