Picked up a long strip of weather stripping, sealing stuff, whatever it's called at Advance Auto Parts today, cut it down and its working great. :)

Just a word to those who will listen:

Omitting the long story that goes with this knowledge:

Make sure you use a non-porous material. If it is any kind of spongy it will cause rust.

Yeh it's in 2 mtr lengths (6 feet ) for you awkward people
and yes i just trimmed the side of it too look nice around the lights .

That looks really nice!
My idea did not work out and I definately want that.

I like to keep a clean engine bay and "sealing" the hood will help that.

I will order it as soon as Garm list it.

I'd be interested in one of those MicroImage kits also. I've only had the car a few weeks and it's already looking pretty nasty under there from rain and whatnot.
