I pulled a 250+lb trailer (Not much was in there, a kids toy chest, 3 small kids bikes, large box of VHS movies, clothes) and had me and the misses in the car, 2 very small dogs, a 27" TV, computer tower, clothes and camping gear. Towed it over 1,000 miles to southern California without a single issue and zero overheating in July. The car performed well, but I wouldn't tow all the time. Mostly I got the hitch for use with a bike rack or maybe a little more cargo room.
