I stripped the allen screw. What should I do?

Try an impact gun or drill it out and buy a new end link.

Did you use an "L" shaped or T handle tool?

drill it out. make sure you have good bits. might also try an easy-out, but I've never tried one on an ex-allen connector

The back side of the link has a flat spot. You can get a vice grip on it, but you may damage the rubber boot. I stripped one on Crashy, when I was building her lift kit, and I did the vice grip trick and was able to remove, extend, and reinstal the link.

Dealer, or I have seen aftermarket ones on eBay for $25 each, so auto parts stores may have them as well.

I think the allen in the center of those bolts is the STUPIDEST idea people have! For those of us who drive in the snow and salt, after a few years it becomes impossible to cleanly get those end links off. But I agree with CTScott, vice-grip it!

liquid wrench + 24h soak + impact gun.....ive neverused an allen key on mine

if ur just swapping springs, just take off the bottom one

They do!!! My car is sitting in the garage on jack stands with some liquid wrench on the parts.
