Brake pedal side to side play

I was wondering if any other 3rd gen owners have side to side play in their brake pedals. My 2014 (auto trans, big pedal) has more side to side play than any other car I've driven. It doesn't affect the pedal application, there is no up and down play before the pedal engages. It's just really more of an annoyance.

I crawled under my dash and was able to get a wrench on the upper bolt where the arm of the pedal is connected but it was plenty tight. I could barely turn it, maybe one flat on the nut. Didn't make any difference. Maybe that's just the way it's designed but I was curious if it's just me or common among the model.

Yes my 3rd gen also has the side to side play, never noticed it until you mentioned lol. No clue if its normal but 2 years and no issues with braking so i assume its fine.

I would appreciate it if others weighed in, even if the answer is no. Also if any 2nd gen owners have this issue feel free to join the conversation. Trying to get enough replys for statistical significance. Thanks.

Very little on my brake and clutch when I get down there and tug on them for side-to-side movement - but nothing remotely significant. Seems normal enough to me.

I finally remembered to check my 2015 Auto. The brake pedal feels tight, I did not measure but at the pedal maybe 3/16 sideways movement.

Thank you for your feedback. Like I said it's not really an issue. I was just curious if I was the only one.
