Puroilator oil filter
It seems like when using a Puroilator oil filter that it barely threads on. Like the threads are farther from the end of the filter. Sort of an uneasy feeling, like maybe it is not biting in enough. Anyone else experience this with this filter?

I use PL14476 and haven't noticed that problem.

I have been using the 14476 for the Yaris. Seems fine for me too. Make sure of the part number?

Just not to add confusion, the 14477 has the same thread size as the 14476, but is a larger oil filter, which is commonly used on Camry and other toyotas...
I just started using the 14477 on the yaris. Works just fine! :) |
