You could search for the diagram for the old Yaris TS(Europe).

I am pretty sure you have the same engine!

The ECU location is in the hood isn't it?

The old one had it in front of the passenger's seat.

I hate to bring back an old thread, but how did it work out.

I have an safc 2 laying around and thought why not hook it up. I can't find a wiring diagram for mine. But just curious how yours worked out. :)

The SAFC comes with a install booklet and ECU pinouts in it. I'm pretty sure there was a 1nzfe pinout.

It doesn't go past 02.

Edit: Okay, I found the Vitz 1nz-fe. This will be the same for the Yaris? I realize it's the same engine and all but still, It is a different car.

You can test the wires. TPS should be 0-5v, and increase in voltage when throttle is applied. 12V is easy to test, and so is ground. Try it :)

At least you admit it. I recommend taking it somewhere if you cant solder anyway, DO NOT use crimp connectors!!!

Oh? It came with them.

Anyway, I just took off my ECU, which was a chore in itself, and I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I don't know of anyone around here who does that kind of stuff either.

If anyone has any better installation pics than what Apexi gives with the SAFC-II I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm off to see if my car will start or if I broke something.

Yeah. I gave up. It's way too complicated for something that would yield gains too small. Unless I find some really good diy pics I'm done. :(
