What is the deal the last couple weeks with the site being down for several hours a day as of late? I have spoken with a few folks that are running into this issue especially during the morning to mid-day hours.

It was down for about 12 hours today and the same one day last week. I posted a thread a couple of months ago, when it was going down frequently as well, but never got an answer.

This morning it kicked off almost promptly at 07:30, so I would guess that it's someone's hobby. I.e. wake up, start up the scripts or bots, ping away until the server crashes. Seems like either the hosts or the nearest DNS node would notice this, or could at least be alerted to the problem so they could monitor it.

Either that, or someone unplugs the server to plug in their coffee pot.

The site is down almost every morning for me. For many months now.

The administrators completely ignore YarisWorld, so don't expect an answer or a fix for that matter. This thing is on autopilot.

This site is getting real sad. It's already so dead and there is no upkeep either. It just is starting to make it an annoyance to visit YW.

Yes you can...it is a service that is being provided and you can complain because if you support the vendors it is your duty to complain because they assist with financially supporting the site and lose sales possibly because of shotty service. This can directly impact you as a member because if the vendors are not being able to hawk their wares due to the site being down causing people to go elsewhere then they may lessen what they offer. The forums are a major way that vendors know/learn what to offer to their clientele.

yeah I was joking, I do understand the vendor system.

It does suck everytime I visit the site and all the most recent thread activity is my posting.
