To nookandcrannycar, nice mileage.

So how have you racked up your miles? Just a long commute / road trips? Sorry if you have already mentioned it.

Scenic day trips around here (as well as errands) eat up mileage, but much of the earlier mileage (coincidentally up to just past the mileage where you are now) = road trips (45 states + DC + Ontario, Canada-----the remaining 20+ MLB parks I hadn't been to + Cooperstown, Canton, The Field of Dreams, the Basketball HOF, The Nationals new park, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans, lots of day trips (in California) with my little cousin (like a daughter to me....and she's only a little girl once) to the beach, hikes, visiting their horse once they dramatically changed the location of his pasture, to aquariums, to Golden Gate Park, to the Oakland Zoo, to other zoos, etc. while visiting family in California (SF Bay Area, Monterey Peninsula, Sacramento area, Lake Tahoe)...and during some of that time building a house here in Texas. Lots of driving between Montgomery County, TX and the SF Bay Area in 2008 and 2009...and it is 2k miles each way.

Since that early mileage ('zero' to just under 145k between October 2006 and October 2009).....not as many road trips ----- to Target Field in Minneapolis during opening week in 2010 and stayed in Arkansas on the way back (visited Fayetteville, Eureka Springs, and Fort Smith). To NYC in June of 2010 to see games at the new Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, etc. To Florida end of March/April 2012 for the opening of Marlins Park and stayed to see sites I'd missed on previous trips
(5k miles on that trip). To Tampa/St. Pete and Orlando late September/early October 2012...........but more day trips ----- Huntsville, Lake Livingston, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, (and NASA, etc. around our metro....I think the City of Houston alone = 600+ square miles).

P.S. oops, 2 errors above -- 44 states not 45 (as my Yaris didn't make it to Wisconsin until my Target Field trip in 2010) and...oops... 2006-2009 also included road trips from No. Cal to So. Cal to visit friends I've known since I lived in So. Cal.

'09 blazing blue hatch. 90k+ miles. Replaced the tires and the battery. Had to replace driver's side axle seal. Part cost $11, but dealership quoted $900+ to put it in. Did it myself. Oh - put on a new serpentine belt. Old one was looking a bit cracked.

Got a 2009 sedan/auto with 87,000+miles and climbing. Water pump went south @ 75,000, but overall, a great little car.

'08 Yaris hatch, manual, 130K miles, motor mounts went out, replaced all myself - cost about $200 in parts.

Also replaced an axle (just to replace a CV boot/bearings) at around 115K.

07 Yaris Hatchback, 5-speed manual, 85k miles

36-39mpg 30% city 70% freeway

No issues so far, sometimes cranking may take a couple seconds longer than usual.

Rolled 150K today. Still feels like new.

Pic taken this week. Sure doesn't look like a 150,000 mile car either.

2010 5MT 4 door. (Bought new in April 2011)
36,000 km.
P300, 302, 304 ECL codes at 33,000. (Cylinder misfire code). Code cleared at about 35,500 and did not return yet.
Reduction in MPG after 6 months, coincidental with fall/winter in Canada, but mpg did not return in spring/summer to previous year's stats.
Possible throwout bearing in clutch at 36,000... hearing a low volume rattle/chirping noise with clutch engaged. Issue is new and not diagnosed by a mechanic yet.

Your car looks great, no, doesn't look like it has 150,000 miles at all.
I've got a long way to go at 4,800 miles - Really good to hear it still feels like new!

The light illuminating my middle (of the 3) heater/AC control 'wheels' on my dash (the one controlling airflow location) went out last night. FYI, each wheel has a separate illumination light (obviously) with (surprisingly) a different part number. Not in stock, had to order --- $9.80 including tax. First dash light to ever burn out on my Yaris. Not a bad track record for that item (or really anything on my Yaris) given about 85 months of use and 266k+ miles.

Argh!. The light came back on! Wasted money on ordering (and prepaying for) the part. Must be a loose connection. The 'seating' for that dial is bent. After her first day of Kindergarten (she's 11 now), my little cousin was sitting in my lap with her feet on the dash and she ended up with her foot on the edge of that dial. She looked so comfortable, I didn't tell her to move her foot. Their neighbor came out to move her trash cans (after pick up) back from the street. She asked about the first day of Kindergarten (her kids had had the same teacher). At that moment, my little cousin was pretending to call her teacher on either my or her mother's cell phone while wearing sunglasses. The neighbor got quite a kick out of that. A few years later the Subaru 'Baby Driver' commercial started airing on TV...and each time I see that commercial I think of that day (I later realized she was 'modeling' her mother). The last picture I ever take of my Yaris will be of that 'crooked' dial .

2008 LB model, 197,000 miles. Only things that have failed is the water pump and I've got that ABS Cel because of the faulty wire in the steering wheel. I've seen many threads on this forum with people who have the same cel thrown. I believe Toyota should have recalled this car and fixed the issue but they never did. Aside from that, I can't complain about the car. It's started up every time, I drive it easy and hard, took it on trips from here in Detroit to Florida, NY, Chicago, etc. It's seen auto x days and warzones (driving on Michigan roads). It's a trooper
