Alignment needed when both front struts are replaced?
They're also replacing the drivers side rear shock and would that make for an alignment? I also think they are putting in a new front sway bar and the bushings for the new struts. The Tech looked at the control arm bushings and thinks they are fine so this is why all these things are being done. Hope they are right and the creaking stops. Thanks

The rear really doesn't have any alignment adjustments, unless you get hub shims. The front really should have an alignment done, as there is a fair bit of play in the crash bolts. Not much else to mess up unless you put on drop springs.

Its always good to have an alignment done when u replace front end parts no harm in it i would do both rear too...its recommended to do an alignment every 30k or with new tires ...50 to 80 bucks can save ur tires and plus how ur car drives i do mine after winter cos of the bad roads and stuff one can hit .
I say do it u can only benefit from it . As for ur creaking i find its mainly do to worn out front sway bar links really bad on echos ,yaris are not so bad .When i lowered my car i did new front struts upper bearings and a alignment cos toe gets taken out when u lower left my rear shocks stock for now...just being lazy that will be next. |

All this is under the TOYOTA extended warranty . Should the alignment be included ? They checked alignment before their diagnosis and it's fine . Now it'll be in need for one , never fails .
