driver seat belt light

for some strange reason my seat belt light does not come on when the car is running and the seat belt unfasten. what can cause this?

About the only thing I can think of that could cause it is the 7.5A MET fuse being blown.

well i got a right hand drive so its behind the passenger glove box. where is the fuse in the box? i am not seeing anything indicating which is which

OK. The driver's seat belt indicator gets driven by CAN bus message from the SRS ECU to the instrument cluster, so the easiest next step would be to swap your cluster with one from another car with a working indicator to verify that the issue is in the cluster.
