They most likely will not work. The Yaris engine has a different compression ratio than the Prius.

Those part numbers are correct and they will fit. They will result in a higher compression ratio, but I assume that is why you are looking for them.

Prius piston Swap

Those part numbers should be good. Those are the part numbers from a 2008 prius.

Does the prius pistons swap include the prius rings as well? They yaris and prius rings face different stresses, curious if the yaris rings might be a better option with the prius pistons.

Prius rings are thinner than Yaris rings, they also have less tension. Everything should work, but you need extremely high octane fuel to compensate for the extra compression. You also won't be able to modify the cams as there is less clearance for lift and duration.

Here in Kingdom we have 92 and 95 octane available, I hope it will run the engine properly..

You'll probably have to run 95, I wouldn't think 92 would cut it.

Wut...... awwwww
but still with higher lift cam doesn't that make it more power to the mid and high range and less on the low?if you doesn't upgrade the compression i don't think the car would accelerate well unless you hit top speed alot...

i was trying to buy the prius pistons from the dealer and pay for the labor but most of shops were annoyed by it. they were trying to sell forged racing pistons that had similar cut out as prius pistons..😡😡😡😡😡

so i decided to go for the cams...hassle free...pay and install kind of thing...😃😃😃😃

but im still keeping this project..
