new entry and info yaris
pleasure my name is simone and I'm new first of all congratulations for the forum that is spectacular but especially congratulations for your yaris that are really beautiful, I'm Italian but my English is unfortunately very bad xD, I wanted to have some advice from you, right now on my yaris mounts rims 17 with tires 195 45 17 but in a few months I would like to mount or the 215 45 17 or 215 40 17 I'm afraid that with the 215 45 touches the wheel arch. what do you recommend? thank you

Welcome; that's a great looking Yaris!
I'm currently lowered about 2" with Tein S Tech springs and running 17" wheels with 205/40/17 tires. Under regular driving conditions (99% of the time), I do not rub. On some of the really big freeway hips, I'll get a little rubbing. You appear to be lowered and if you go out to 215 tire width, I suspect that you would also get a little rubbing when going over big bumps. Any particular reason you want to go from 195 all the way out to 215? Are you changing the wheels in addition to the tires? |

bye thank you. the problem is that I can mount only the 185 60 15 on the registration document. Last year I applied to the cetoc to have the 17 approved and only the size 195 45 passed me. The problem is that it is too rubbery tight and I would like to fit a wider rubber like for example 215 45 17. but with the fact that I have the eibach springs that are -3cm I'm afraid to touch, so I thought of a shoulder as low as 215 40 17.

Nice 2nd Gen Yaris! I can tell that you really care for your car. That aftermarket muffler is absolutely scary on that little car, lol.

I love the term "rubbery tight," despite not having any idea how to use it correctly.

ahahahha,
guys, any of you know the v-maxx springs? I saw them on ebay and I read that they lowered by 40mm. I for now as already written previously mounted of the eibach that lower me about 30mm. do you think it is better to change them? I had also seen the tein but at the end they lowered as much as the eibach. I would like to change only the springs and leave the original shock absorbers |

do you only have the springs with the shock absorbers stock?
where can I buy them? |
