cant get SMS/Text working on 2018 with iPhone
iPhone 6, absolute latest iOS etc. The Phone aspect is working perfectly, contacts sync, can place a call by voice, all that good stuff. But when I try to setup messaging on the car, it just says "you need to do something on your phone..." but I dont see anything that looks relevant on the phone which is waiting to be enable or allowed.
Any clues? |

I've recently faced the same issue with my iPhone 14 Pro. Have you found out how to solve this issue?

Hey there! I had the same issue with my iPhone 12, and I found a solution online. It turns out that sometimes the issue is caused by a problem with the cellular settings on your iPhone. To fix it, you need to reset your network settings. Try to reset all your network settings, including Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth connections, and cellular settings. After you reset your network settings, try setting up messaging on your car again. If it doesn't help, I've heard some people run tests on their phones by using an Australian phone number to see whether the problem is with the phone or with the network provider.
