Question about the Engine Overheating LED
Hi! I have a quick question about the temp overheating led: If the light comes on, does that mean that the temp has reached so high that engine damage has already occurred? Or, does it have some kind of range? Like for example, (I don't know engine temp ranges, so I'm just using numbers here), let's say the engine normal range is 250 degrees, and that the maximum operating temp is 300 degrees. Would the light come on before it reaches that temp limit, thus allowing one to safely pull the car to a safe spot? Or does that light come on when it's already too late?

Thanks for your input, camelll. My Yaris is working perfectly, however I have had over-heating issues before in my other car, so I'm scarred from that experience, so I just want to know in advanced.
