Question Question about installing projector fog lights

Hey everyone,

I'm in Canada with a 2008 RS Hatchback. I have foglights factory installed already, but bought the typical eBay projector foglight set because they look awesome.

From here:
Ebay site

I have limited experience with installing stuff like this. I'm comfortable taking the dash apart because I installed a bluetooth kit, but haven't ever dealt with the bumper.

I found a couple how-to's on this site, but the first has broken images, and the other is for installing foglights on a Yaris that didn't have any previously installed (below)

So I guess I'm just wondering what I'll need to do. I was looking at this page but I don't know what modifications I need to apply to this procedure.

To summarize:

Will I still have to modify the switch harness or anything weird like that? What factory stuff can I leave in?
The lights I bought from eBay have Halos, can I make those come on with the daytime running lights?

Thanks so much everyone. If I get them in soon I'll post pics. :) I'm so excited!

Terra,
Perhaps CTScott can answer you, as he is the Yaris electrical guru.
Or if anyone has installed HIDs can response. I would think that since you have
the factory wiring, relay, switch, etc, that you should just have to take the bumper
off and install the lights. They screw in from behind. It might be possible to
just take off the bumper related covers underneath and in the wheelwell to access
the lights without taking the bumper all the way off.

Let's hope that CTScott responds as well as others.
