1nz-fe high compression setup [build]
Hi everyone, I'm Ben from Singapore
I'm driving a Vios NCP42, which is powered by the same 1nz-fe engine as the Yaris (well, except for the head which is different, as I learnt the hard way) I'm currently building a high compression setup for my car and I'm writing about the build on my blog, POWAA Garage. just felt like sharing it with everyone, and see if anyone has comments, questions or even better, recommendations for me. This is my first engine build, so I still have a lot to learn! here's the link to the first part of the build: http://www.powaagarage.com/2015/08/P...ld-Part-I.html I'm still writing the rest, so more to come! @admins, I am not making any money from this, only buring it all down in this engine haha! If it is inappropriate for me to share this here do let me know and I'll take it down right away. Thanks!

That is pretty dang cool, you really are going full tilt on a all motor build! Thank you for sharing it with us and putting all that money in it. That custom exhaust cam piece to let you adjust exhaust timing is fantastic!
130 whp is bad ass, do you think there's a lot more in her with a better engine manage like a standalone ecu? Can't wait to see what you get with the ITB's. EDIT: Are the pistons you used the ones from the prius? 1nzfxe pistons that come with 13.1 cp? |

Be careful running the Prius C\Yaris Hybrid pistons, there isn't much ring tension and they will allow blow-by.

FUCK YA!
This is awesome. I've never done an engine build before (I've tuned some 2 stroke engines that requited port and polishing and enjoyed it very much) but this looks like fun. Keep us informed! |
