rims (and tires) for TRACK ONLY

I would like to hear everyone's favorite choice for track use only.

I personally am looking for 15 x 7 size. I like these:

post up, with rim weights if you know them!

Motegi Tracklite 2.0 = 10 pounds
Enkei RPF1 = 9.9 pounds

I just got a set of the FN01-RCs in Hyper Black. I got the 16x7 and they are said to be about 15lbs. I believe the 15s are like 14lbs or so.

If I'm going to spend a couple grand on rims and tires for the track, $130 for lug nuts doesn't really make be blink. A day at the track around here is about $250 anyway, and you use up a set of brake pads and tires in two or three track days. Very expensive hobby!

I don't think you need to spend the money on Motegi's, and consider the possibility of denting the wheels if you hit the curbing. For Auto X, where there is no curbing, they'd be dope.

I like these as well:

They're $149 each at the Tire Rack and they come in 4 colors (Silver, Grey, Orange, Chrome).
Kosei KS-1
Offset: 38mm Bolt Pattern: 4-100
**Lightweight: 12.6lbs.**

This is what I will likely get for my track wheels since the offset is perfect and the price is right, and they look good on the car!

I'm planning on Nippon Racing Type-C...13 lbs. and only $75 a piece. Stick some Azenis on there and it could surely be fun.

I can't decide if I want to do 15 inch or 16 in for a light weight wheel. I'm leaning toward 16 being I have the sedan, though it's a lot cheaper to deal with 15 inch.

On a budget the Lenso VPDs in 13x7.5 +25 can't be beat with some 205/60/13 RA1's.

Also love the RS-Watanabe Cyclone 15x7 +35 (under 9lbs each, forged mag) with some 205/50/15 RA1's.

Also love the Racing Hart CP-035 in 17x7 +38, have 215/45/17 RT-615's on them now but I'd switch them out for some 205/40/17 888's or NT-01's for strictly track use.

Can't beat the TE37's and RE30's for looks, stregth and light weight! I'd go for some white TE's or mag blue RE's in 15x7.5

Weight/cost/size its hard to beat the RPF1's... Good-Win has got them in +41 15x7 right now for 185 each!!!! The offset should let you go with a "wide" 205, drive it like a scalded kitty, and still clear.
http://www.good-win-racing.com/mazda/miata/21-1049.html

The ce28's and te37's are super-dope.... how bout them "cup" versions, eh?

So now I'm just using my NT01's with Drag DR20 15 x 7.5. Looking for a set of 15 x 8's for next season.
