Transmission Control Cable Clips

I am in the middle of replacing the clutch on my 2008 by following the repair manual (https://cardiagn.com/2007-toyota-yar...r-manuals-pdf/). Does anyone know how to remove the "transmission control cable clips"? The ones with washers are super easy, I'm talking about the other two. Below is a link to a video with me showing them, and attached is the part of the repair manual I am trying to complete.

Closest thing I can find to someone removing these is the video below. I tried using a pry bar a little but it was smashing down on the cable and all the rubber parts around the cable so I didn't want to use much force.

Oh also I am aware of https://www.toyotanation.com/threads...clutch.489689/. I have really been mixing the two resources (that post and the repair manual). But either way, these shift cables need to come off.

You just need to grab the metal clip with a pair of pliers and pull them up. Can reinstall them by lightly taping them back down with a hammer.

This worked, just had to pull on it way harder than I thought I should be. I also tapped a flat head screwdriver in between them in between tugging on it. Thanks!

Yup, those are a pain to remove, especially if you live somewhere that uses salt on the roads. Vice grips or a big pair of channel-locks work best for me.
