voting should definitely be secret. ive seen how lame it gets when people on the rsx forum have a commentary on the voting progress as the week goes on.

this is gonna be a lot of fun. im looking forward to it

I making a new thread for YOTM feedback, please post all ideas/Comments in that section please! Garm i had to make a class just for you....lol

1) for taking the initiative to get this done. A couple of hours ago, we were just taking about it. Now, there is something going. Good job!

2) could we have a dedicated thread with JUST the submissions, because if you have submissions and 300 comments cluttering the thread (including stuff like ^ or whatever) then it'll be a pain to get through it, I DNK, just a thought.

3) not sure how I feel about voting but it sure is easy to stick a poll and have people click on it. Maybe we could try voting and see how that goes?

4) decide on a set of criteria that makes a Yaris the best candidate for "Yaris of the Month" and maybe give these guidelines with the poll so people know what to take into consideratin when they're voting? Just a thought.

6) the various categories yarii can give hope to anyone. I like it. (never really thought I'd win while competing with Etimago, Garm, etc., ;)

for what it's worth why not , do it by Nominations ,
members nominate Members and cars 1st week of the month
Nomine's submit photo's by the end of the 2nd week
3rd week we get too look at photo's
4th week we get to vote
takes a lot of pressure of the mod's in forming voting and photos
into a viewable thread over night.

Okay ill bring it down, let me know what you guys think will be good for each class! I would like to here it from some others, also the voting will be done with a Poll and you cant see who is winning until you submit your vote.

I like PK's three class suggestion...

"a). Unmodded
b). Slightly Modded (i.e wheels , tips and anything cosmetic)
c). Heavily Modded (i.e turbos, single seaters, race ready, etc)"

However, class C could also be someone with Airrunner suspension (808_Yaris), and not just boosted people in this class.

completely agree.

dont think nominations cause favoritism but a secret pm style nomination and secret voting system would probably end up being the most ideal

I guess it's how you what to look at it. I would call it heavily modded since as of now there is only one airrunner Yaris in the US. It's not like throwing on an axleback? But Idk

dont delete this thread, it might have info that we may need to refer to later

and i agree with pk but why not just have a poll in which the results are hidden until voting ends? that would be FARRRR easier

Alright, lets do that then, we need to nominate 3 people to count votes...1 person for each class!

LOL i'm so with u on this bro...

speaking for myself only, i feel like there should be no categories, no voting, no photo quality stipulations...no complications...

the moderators should just choose an entry each month from users who submit a small profile and some photos and that's that...

i mean, as Garm said, we will all enjoy reading the thread, it's not like there is prize money on the line...it's just for fun and about putting a little spotlight on a user each month so we all pay a little extra attention to them and their yaris...just seems to me like this is all more trouble than it's worth and it takes away from the overall goal of the yotm idea...

just my 2...

I would love to help, but I am not on enough to be a vote counter ( even though it seems like I am ).
