so far from everything I've removed (entire center console, and all the stereo/dash gauge console) all the clips are pretty sturdy and you'd have to really force them to go the wrong way before breaking them... atleast thats what my experiance has been.

just remember dont just rip stuff out, slowly but firmly pull out 1 clip at a time from bottom ==> top.

well what else arent you sure about? As far as instation is concerned you will have to simply follow the directions that came with the new equitment
(or visit their website) , and then reverse the disassembly instructions to put it all back together.....

This file (0370011.pdf) shows there are 3 connectors on the integrated radio, but only two on the non-integrated radio. Can someone tell me what each of these connectors are for? If I wanted to replace the integrated radio with an aftermarket HU, do I need a different/special harness because of this?

My guess (hope) is that the "third" connector is for the extra pair of speakers if you have the six-speaker system, and that I can just disreagard it if I only have 4 speakers....

One connector is for power, acc power, ground, and front speakers. The second connector is for the rear speakers. The third connector you are referring to is for the Aux input. I don't have a CD changer but there are a total of 4 connectors on the stock radio. One mine, one had no connection and that is for the cd changer I believe.

I just replaced my stock radio with a deck that has an aux input in the back. That is how I know about the third connector. I had to connect that to the new deck for aux input.
