It'll be there in just 3 days.

Right now I'm the only person in the world running a intake spacer like that on my Yaris...

... but pretty soon, I won't be.

Hey sorry guys... I totally neglected to file off the edge on the spacer like this...



It allows for clearance for the, I think it's the valve timing advance cylinder. Right here...



A rough hand file takes it right down. It doesn't take much to make it fit. I just totally forgot to do it. If you have any questions let me know here in this thread. First try to fit it unfiled so that it becomes crystal clear exactly where the little bit of filing is necessary. That cut isn't on the CNC machine program because it's an undercut, and the 90 degree tool doesn't do undercuts. So you simply file it by hand to fit.

My wife informed me my spacer arrived today, unfortunaly i"m in Washington State until the end of March, should be able to install in April

If the last two sell out, I'll have a few more machined.
What I do is totally determined by how many people buy them.
I'm already thinking about another product but I still don't know what it is yet.

So am I.
My mileage results are inconclusive as my wife drives the car more than I do, and it basically never sees a freeway.

I saw your mpg specs on your main thread and am impressed but lets get some hwy time on it and some romping included : )
Could you possibly provide 2 measurements? How much further does the stock intake stick out and how far out does the 1zz intake stick out.
My classic car swap is very limited in space and if I go down this route, I want to make sure it will clear the firewall (engine is in the back).

Someone else will have to provide the mileage specs when they get their spacers installed, as we live in a rural area and very rarely use freeways, so there's basically no sustained high speed driving.

And as far as romping, it's not a high performance horsepower product. It just helps the engine to pull stronger at low rpms.

You can know exactly how much the stock intake sticks out with the spacer. Just measure yours and add 2 inches.

No problem. I should be able to measure the aluminum tooter and will post the results here today.

The Yaris happens to have plenty of empty space in front of the engine that allows the luxury of a thick spacer.

The thickness of the tooter aluminum intake manifold is 8 1/8" from the surface of the gasketed flange to the runner's edge at the lowest point in the picture...
