congratulations! Nice camera too... Canon Powershot?

as for the engine speed display (aka tachometer), they're apparently just not available on US-spec Yarii, lots of discussions about that matter in the DIY and Interior forums...

i didn't know the automatic sedans don't have a tach here either. i don't like how the guage cluster looks w/out it - glad the manual sedan does have one!

Looking good! Now you can make your trip...weren't you the one concerned about that, you were hoping to get a car before this long trip you had?
Anyway congrats! Take in the new car smell while you can!

Oh really so the american Manual Sedan has a tacho, not all models of the yaris?

Though our Yaris liftbacks are all digital with the tacho, fuel level and all that. But i know out sedans are like yours, with the pointer and all.

You can see the diff. and yer, i dont know why the aust sedans aint digi like our liftbacks.

Actually my convenience package should include 15 in wheels. The dealer told me that is 15 in wheel. But I am not sure if he was telling truth

hard to tell from the pics but they do look like 15's

Just take a closer look at your tire, and find a sequence of numbers that looks something like this: 195/50R15

That last number is your rim diameter

Rick

Ya those are 14s alright. They only have the wheel caps available for the 14" for the Yaris in the US. They have also have an alloy 14" and 15". The 14 and 15 is optional on the Sedan. Unfortunatly those aren't the 15's that come with the Yaris.

As for the tach, the S comes equipped with a tach whether you have MT or not.

I got AT and I'm glad I got the S, because I don't like not having a tach.
