HOW TO INSTALL AIR INTAKE IN YARIS ?

Dear Experts

I;ve 1.0 yaris, the problem im facing is that when i remove the VVTI box from the throttle body to install air intake with pipe so the car does not starts due to maf sensor problem so kindly suggest me what should i do? presently im running intake on that vvti box.

IF I GET EXACTLY PIPE OF THROTTLE BODY SIZE AND I MAKE SOME PLACE FOR THE MAF SENSOR ON THAT PIPE SO WILL IT WORK?

I'M IN NEED OF URGENT HELP.

Sounds like that's the problem gonna need smaller pipe

the point is how to start the car ? because the car fails to start when the vvti box is not there

did you tranfer maf sensor to new intake? maybe you should post pics of your problem
pic of your intake and what you putting on would help alot

yes if the MAF sensor is on the stock intake pipe you must transfer it to what you are trying to put on aftermarket hose. the link you have attached page 3 shows where he ziptied the sensor (red circled post#41 close to throttle body) to the hose does'nt look so garans but can't see how he did it so GL
