Exclamation airbag/passenger seat belt light(s)

hi guys i have a question is there any way to reset the airbag lights on the dash ? (red dash light & yellow "passenger airbag off") does it have to do with a tripped airbag sensor even though no airbags were deployed ? and also the passenger seat belt light flashes even when someone is sitting in the seat with the seat belt plugged in . can i do it with a scanner tool or is this a "bring to the shop" deal

Those lights flashing indicate that the passenger occupant classification system is not happy. check the grey and black connectors that plug into the little module mounted to the bottom of the front of the passenger seat.

Unplugging the battery won't help. Only a techstream or a vehicle specific scanner can read the codes. Try the jumper method...
