That's exactly what I want to do with my new spoiler as well, but with the hydro dipping technique. Could you please post a step by step guide for the wiper? Cheers

well in reality you don't need to be MacGyver to do that, and you can work IN the car sitting in it... all you need to do is :

1. remove the back plastic panel

2. you will see a piece of metal with 4 + patern screws and 2 (or 3 Idon't remmember it right) 10mm bolt......undo all this and be carefull when removing this plate because some pieces can stick to it due a big amount of grease

3. once this thing is out, you will see a dented gear with 4 holes and if nothing stuck to the plate you removed, another rectangular plastic piece in one of the 4 holes... the thing to put it vertical is to get it out of there and put it on the one to the LEFT... tho I could be wrong so test with the 4 holes and see how you want it....

4.re assemble it all and BOOM vertical wiper

as for the spoiler. YEAH ! go hydro-dip (I might do that as well) because this is INDIVIDUAL STICKERS..... and the sun destroyed the colors even with 4 coats of EXTERIOR PAINT clear.......

This. I don't really see the point in the vertical wiper? Is it a fashion thing?

One reason, for those living in lands of ice and snow, is to eliminate the winter issue of snow/slush, and ultimately ice from building up on the wiper blade and arm.

Vertical rear wiper modification Toyota Yaris

I like the mod, but have no rear wiper/washer. Was going to mention that the horizontal one on a 91 Corolla wagon holds tree debris, road dust, snow and ice and salt...bleeding it off slowly so that it can best rust out features below it.
Much of my driving is short trips on dirt roads, and that rear window is a real dust magnet. I find that a hand pimped water spritzing bottle makes a sufficient cleaning for vision purposes, w/ surprisingly little water and with no squeegee/cloth etc. to keep clean enough not to scratch glass and need drying between uses ,etc. Best/easiest results in am when window is wet w/ dew.
