Map Light Removal

Does anyone know how to safely remove the map light console on a '09 5 Door?

I want to relocate the Bluetooth mic there.

Thanks,

I just use my fingertips to avoid damaging the plastic or head liner.

I used a thin plastic thing and gently bent it out at the mark.

Was easier to put bluetooth mic on top of the A-pillar.

I hope yours is better than mine: people just hear noise when I use the bluetooth.

Thanks for the reply, but a few questions:

1: Where is "the mark"?

2: Where and what is the A-Pillar?

It's not that hard to take it out...first you can pull the light assy. down with your fingers then use your screwdrivers to push in clips while pulling down lights.
there is four clips holding the lights up so two on each sides top and bottom. Probably need a flashlight to see better once you pry it with fingers.

I thought there were little marks on the edge of the map light. A pillar is the plastic pillars next to the windshield. Its easier to drag the bluetooth wire up under the dash above the pedals, and behind the plastic of the A-pillar.

Why not put it on the steering column?
