Heater Problems
Hi, I have a 2007 yaris and when I turn on the heater I can hear the motor running, but I get little to no air coming out of the floor vents or the defroster (regardless of the knob settings). Its almost like the flapper in the heating vents is closed.
Does anyone know the best way to access the heater box on these cars? Do I need to take out the glove box door? If anyone has suggestions or a diagram of how the heater box works I would appreciate it. thanks |

You can grab the AC section of the service manual from the Micro Image forum to see how the flappers work. It is likely that the cable that changes the output position popped off of the back of the knob (pulling off the vertical black pieces and then pulling off the control panel gives you access). The other end is accessible behind the glove box.
