I will definitely be interested in a foglight kit and equally as interested in Scott's write-up for wiring it!

I've got my new combination switch / headlight stalk (w/ fog light switch built in) and the official fog light relay ready, just need a fog light kit now.

Nope. No fog light kits yet for the '09LB. The '09LB's fog light shrouds are shaped differently than the '07 or '08 LB fog light shrouds.

Not sure about the '09 sedans.

ah ok. i got a 09 sedan and am interested in some OEM type fogs later on. one question tho..i dont have the power package installed so is that going to hinder my ability to install the fogs at all ? it does not have any buttons or switches in the spot right below the e-brake, but i can see there are 2 slots that are available.

Doesn't matter if you have the power package. You connect the fogs to the fuse / junction box in the engine bay and its power button and relay to the fuse / junction box below and to the left of the steering wheel.

What are you referring to? Available fog lights for the '09LB or the connection?

The lights may be the same as those in the 08LBs and sedans as well as the RAV4s, but the black shroud that goes around the lights have a different shape.

AFAIK, they are an option with the non-S LBs in some regions of the country so each dealer's parts department should be able to order them. I haven't seen anyone selling them yet though. kargoboy, Jimcat, etc. haven't mentioned that they are carrying fogs for the '09 LBs.

You might pay a bit if you do. I'm surprised that no one has made them yet to sell on Ebay. I remember before I got my '07, there were kits already available. Then again, it was out in Japan a year before the U.S. (probably other places too). That's the downfall of changing the model slightly. The 'zenki' style is always available, but I wonder if the lights themselves are the same. Maybe you might be able to cut out the vents to accommodate them if they are.

I'm doing a 09 front bumper conversion on my 07 yaris. The 07-08 fog will mount in the 09 bumper, but you will need to buy the 09 fog light cover for it, its about $25 each from the dealer. I bought an aftermarket fog set on ebay and the fog cover from toyota. Thats if you cant wait for the 09 set on ebay.

Are you changing your headlights for the conversion too? or you gonna leave the gap open as extra vents?

What are the part numbers for the '09 5-door / 3-door LB fog light shrouds. I've checked ToyotaPartsCheap, but they don't have parts for any of the '09 models yet.

ToyotaPartsCheap, need to update their site for the 09, its not in their system yet. Notice it only goes to 2008. But here is the part number: Left fog cover 81482-52260/ Right 81482-52330
