I have some new balances that are pretty form fitting to my foot so It's a little easier than my work boots (LOL)maybe if I glue like a big piece of plastic to my acc pedal I would close the gap of the brake and the acc a little bit. LOL. but I was thinking about look closely at my pedals today to check out if I can mod it any... but I guess the hard part about the seesawing is pressure or lack there of on the brake...

For those which have small feet ( such as I), the heel toe technique is most easily accomplished by literally using only your heel and toe. Many people are lazy and try to lay their whole foot on the pedals. Try only using your heel and toe. Before even getting started just try getting your foot placement right and finding an accurate leverage point. Your actual heel to toe axis is the most important step in using this technique.

For no apparent reason, I can heel and toe again! I guess I need to be sitting a little bit closer to the steering wheel.

The heel-toe technique was key to me when I used to drift my MX-5. The Yaris, not so much. Also, since I'm so tall (6'3"), the pedal placement made it difficult to really use the technique.

So I came up with a solution. Swap it around. Now I do a toe-heel technique where I use the edge of my heel to hit the brake then flex my foot forward to hit the gas with my toes. I don't know why, but this is a lot easier for me now. The hard part was learning not to slam the brake while blipping the gas.

I do it all the time now, but it was virtually impossible with stock pedals. I installed Sparco pedal covers and now heel toing is much more doable and realistic.

Which ones did you buy? Did a quick Google and eBay search for a combination of Yaris and Sparco pedals, but didn't get any matches.

Heel toe seems impossible with the stock pedals.

My feet are generally too big, but for me with the lightweight flywheel every time I use the clutch the throttle gets blipped anyways.

I should also add that the pedals are not slippery although they look to be so. The black lines are grooves cut into them and they give lateral grip even with snowy wet shoes.

That said, I always bang my feet off as best as I can when I have snow on my shoes and yet to have any issues
