Alternative Front Seats That Allow Farther Backward Travel?

I'd prefer not to remove the seat rails, and I'm a little queasy about the whole project due to airbag/sensor concerns, but I need a bit more driver's seat rear travel. Are there seats that will mount to the existing brackets, and allow for a bit more backward travel? And, can this be done by a novice, without triggering the airbag, etc? Thanks!
